Whether new to racing, building your first race car, or transitioning from another series, the MINI Challenge Clubsport Starter Guide is here to help! Below is everything you need to know to join one of the UK’s most exciting club championships.

  • To race in 2026, you’ll need a valid MSUK race licence. Follow the links below for guidance:

    • Apply for an MSUK Licence

    • Complete Your ARDS Course (ARDS stands for the Association of Racing Driver Schools. It is a Motorsport UK-recognised collection of race schools that train and test prospective competitors to ensure their suitability for holding a Motorsport UK competition licence).

  • Racing doesn’t have to break the bank! Build or purchase a race-ready car starting at affordable prices (Cooper or Cooper S options available). A typical season includes:
