Mini Cooper S R56 racecar, freshly built 3 years ago and not raced. This car was custom built, with all equipment listed below and has only been used on track days a few times. It is a quick and competitive car and could be used in many series such as cscc, ctcrc, castle combe saloons, mini challenge cooper s class amongst others.
The base car is a low mileage (circa 50k miles) 1,6 Cooper S, and the car has been built and maintained to a very high level, with no expense spared and produced around 240bhp, tuned by West Tuning.

Freshly rebuilt for the 2024 Race of Remembrance with fresh engine, 6-speed gearbox and newly serviced AST dampers. *Massive* spares package (see kit list in photos), extra gearbox, engine, bodywork etc, and an extra set of wheels with tyres.
Sadly, one of the driver sponsors pulled out at the last minute, so the car is loaded and ready to race with packed kit boxes.
The car was originally built for the R50 Challenge but was converted to R56 spec during covid to compete in the Deutche Marques series. We bought the car in 2021 and returned it to R50 spec to run in the Scottish SMRC Mini competition and Race of Remembrance. So the car currently has a normally aspirated 1.6 with a 4 branch Gravity exhaust manifold, Cooper S six-speed gearbox (with Blackline limited slip diff, and TTV lightweight flywheel) and AST suspension. The car retains all original R50 challenge-specific equipment – Mini Challenge stamped 6-point roll cage, Moma Daytona Safari racing seats, OMP 6-point harnesses, 4-lite fire extinguisher, button electrical cut-off, aluminium undertray, wing etc. The car is currently in RoR spec but only needs a change of springs (supplied) and an ECU to change back to Trophy spec.
As this is a retirement sale, there is also a vast spares package. I've got a shipping container full of bodywork, engines, gearboxes, and various spares that will accompany the sale.
